Why Convert To Digital?
Did you know that tapes and film don't last forever? Between tape-eating bacteria (yes it exists), dust, oxide shedding and deterioration, tapes on average degrade 10-20% over 10 to 25 years. If you have video and film from the 90's or earlier, there's a good chance some of the footage is already skewed due to aging. The best way to preserve these precious moments is converting them to digital files.

If your concern is the cost, Oyler Media Conversion will price match any competitor pricing. Are you unsure of what is on your tapes and you don't want to be charged for something you don't want? No worries. We don't charge for tapes that are blank, too damaged to be converted or contain video that is not wanted (old tv shows, movies, etc.).
Don't risk sending your items to a large company where they could get lost in the mail or mixed up during processing. We are a small, local business and we treat each order as if they were our own items being digitized.
How It Works

Schedule an appointment to drop off your tapes, photos, or other items you need digitized. Call us directly at (801) 310-6274 or click the button below to fill out the form.

Step 2
After dropping off your order, we will begin the process of converting your media to digital format. Turnaround time depends on the number of files, but we can typically have your project completed in under two weeks.

Once your files are digitized, we copy them to a USB thumb drive which you receive when you pick-up your order. All orders of $50 or more include one free 64gb thumb drive. If completed files are in excess of 64gb and additional thumb drives are needed, the cost is $5 per drive. If you want your videos copied to DVD, it's an additional $5 per DVD.

Oyler Media Conversion can transfer VHS, VHS-C, SVHS, Hi8, Video8, Digital8, Beta and MiniDV to digital format for long term storage and viewing. We edit each video to remove any static or blank space from the start, middle or end of each tape, ensuring you only get back what you want to watch.
